The Billies come from behind to beat White Men Can’t Jump, becoming one of two remaining undefeated teams in the West.  We All We Got, MVP Network Consulting, and Court Justice remain atop the East.

Buffalo, NY-  In Week 3’s action the Billies slipped by White Men Can’t Jump in a come from behind victory.  The rally ensued after White Men Can’t Jump star Terrence ‘T-Nice’ Warren was ejected from the game after mixing it up with the Billies fiery spark plug Tom Cavanagh, who just returned to the Billies lineup from an ankle injury.  The win puts the Billies atop the West in a tie with undefeated Concrete, who got a big win over the Buffalo Braves later on in the day.

United Hoops took on Eastern Conference powerhouse R.I.P. Ent in another excellent game later on in the day.  After getting blown out in Week 1, United Hoops looks like a whole different team for the second week in row.  They came out on fire in this one, led behind an inspiring performance by captain Justin Stokes who lit up the scoreboard with 20 first half points.  In the second half though, R.I.P. Ent pulled it together behind the strong inside play of newcomer Dwayne ‘Stretch’ Jackson, who led R.I.P. Ent with 22 points, which was just enough to pull out the 68-62 point win.

The BSWA #2 All-Time scorer Moe Bailey made his season debut for Court Justice in Week 3 against Ball Never Lies.  It was a tight feisty game throughout, until Moe Bailey put an exclamation point on the game with a dramatic two-handed slam dunk alley-oop from Brian Walter, who tossed the ball from half court.

Next week is the final week of action before the All-Star game in Cleveland.  If you haven’t already done so, book your tickets ASAP and get ready to take over Quicken Loans Arena.
