CKNY captures the title in the East, while JLin & The Temptations finish their remarkable season with a championship in the West.
Buffalo, NY- Congratulations to Dave Hall and CKNY who capped off an excellent season with a big time win over Sponge Bob Square Pants. Ben Schwenebraten led all scorers with 36 points in what was perhaps the greatest individual performance in Champions League finals history. Jon Burgio led Sponge Bob Square Pants with 19 points, as they came up just short of a title which seems to be a recurring theme for the franchise.
In the Western Division JLin & The Temptations knocked off Lenny Frears and Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy with a physical, hard fought, defensive game led behind James White who scored a game high 19 points. The game was anybodies for the taking for almost the entire game before Jlin made a run at the end to wrap up the win.
