Over 50 teams started the season in the running. It now comes down to the final four. Who will hoist the giant $1,000 check at half-court?
The 2nd triannual Tournament of Champions is this Saturday at the North Buffalo Community Center. Here is the the schedule for the night:
Game 1 / 6:00 pm: Asareese (Dave Nelson) v. Blue Ballers (Steven Heather)
Game 2 / 7:00 pm: Hustlers 4 Je$us (Andrew Fanelli) v. Average Guys (Mark Ward)
3-Point Shootout 8:00 pm: Men’s & Women’s Brackets
$1,000 Game / 9:00 pm: Game 1 Winner v. Game 2 Winner
The 3-Point Shootout is open to all Healthy Buffalo players. It is $5 to enter and the winner will take a 50/50 split of the entrance fee and a trophy if they win. As with last season there will be a men’s and women’s division. John Papincak and Rachelle Matthys are the reigning champs and will hopefully be back to defend their titles. There will be no charge for fans, friends and family to attend the event. We hope to see everyone there!
