WHAT: 3-Point Shootout
WHERE: North Buffalo Community Center, 203 Sanders Rd, Buffalo, NY 14216
WHEN: Saturday, September 8, 2018 @ 3:00 pm
WHO: Men, Women, Boys & Girls of all ages (but regulation 29.5 basketballs are used and everyone shoots from the regular 3-point line)
SKILL LEVEL: All skill levels welcome
EXISTING PLAYER REGISTRATION: $5 per person (does not include jersey)
NEW PLAYER REGISTRATION: $15 (includes Healthy Buffalo t-shirt) or $20 (includes your choice of Healthy Buffalo reversible game jersey or royal and white All-Star jersey)
*** SPECIAL EVENT HOT SHOT RULES! ***
Each player has 1-minute to score as many points as possible. There are five ‘hot spots’ to shoot from, each player must make one basket from each spot in order. After a shot has been made from each spot the shooter can then shoot from any of the five spots until time runs out. All baskets are worth one point except the top of the key which is worth two points.
THE HEALTHY BUFFALO 3-POINT SHOOTOUT INCLUDES:
- 20 shots per round, including a money ball in each rack.
- Top shooters in each round advance to a second round, and possible third round if necessary.
- $100 cash prize and trophy for the overall winner and other prizes for category winners.
