Brandon Siclari lights the broomball world on fire with a hat-trick on opening night to lead Sweepy Hallow past the Polar Vortex.
Buffalo, NY- It was a cold and frigid winter night with temperatures dipping into the single digits as the Healthy Buffalo Co-Ed Broomball League kicked off its opening night on the Ice @ Canalside. In the opening matchup of the evening the Polar Vortex took on Sweepy Hallow in a dramatic high scoring affair. Brandon Siclari put on an electric performance scoring three goals to record the first ever hat-trick at Canalside. Sweepy Hallow went on to win the game 7-3.
In the second game of the night the Multiple Scorgasms won a defensive struggle against #WEDEMBOYZNGIRLZ. The goalkeeper for Multiple Scorgasms was nearly unstoppable, looking like the second coming of Dominik Hasek out there on the ice. Erik Wollschlager recorded both goals for the Multiple Scorgasms leading the team to a 2-0 win over #WEDEMBOYZNGIRLZ.
