Four of the BSWA’s most storied franchises will compete for a title this Saturday.  Court Justice will look to bring home their second title, while Sponge Bob, Concrete and the Billies look to bring home their first.

Buffalo, NY-  There was a lot of talent at the Knights this past Saturday as the remaining eight teams faced off to see who would advance to the finals in their respective divisions.  In game one, R.I.P. Ent continued their rivalry with Jon Burgio and Sponge Bob Square Pants.  After being knocked out of the playoffs by R.I.P. Ent on a couple occasions, Sponge Bob was determined to pull out the win and advance to their second finals appearance.  Sponge Bob looked sharp early distributing the ball effectively while jumping out to a 44-32 lead at the half.  Jason Rowe led all scorers with 31 points, but Sponge Bob had their number this season, winning the game 76-67 to advance to the Champions League finals.

After making it all the way to the semis in their inaugural season, We All We Got had a tough task at hand against Court Justice.  They fell behind early as Mike Ridge (16 points) and Kevin Ford (18 points) led the offensive attack and couldn’t get back into the game late.  Tito Harris (17 points) had an excellent game and hit a couple threes late, but it was too little, too late as Court Justice pulled out the 65-55 win and will face Sponge Bob Square Pants next Saturday.

In Game 3, the Buffalo Braves faced off against Concrete, while looking to make an appearance in the finals in their inaugural season.  The Braves kept it close in the first half, but in the second half Concrete pulled away for the 56-41 point win.  In the final game of the day the Billies looked to avenge their sole regular season victory against Healthy Buffalo to see who would face Concrete in the finals.  The Billies looked not just to win the game but to make a statement.  They were playing without leading scorer Mark Ward, but welcomed the return of Justin Andreozzi.  They jumped out to a 12 point lead at the half and never looked back, knocking off Healthy Buffalo with a 63-53 point victory.  It was an emotional loss for Healthy Buffalo, who came together as a team and put in one of the best seasons ever for the Healthy Buffalo squad.  The Billies win will setup a rematch of the semifinals from Kronies Jamfest 5 and will showcase two of the leagues most team orientated franchises.
