Tournament of Champions 750

This Saturday night marks the first ever season-ending Tournament of Champions.  The night will offer something for everyone.

Healthy Buffalo’s entire spring season will officially wrap up this Saturday with the first ever Tournament of Champions at the North Buffalo Community Center.  The day will start off with a kid’s clinic hosted by PeacePlayers International co-founder Sean Tuohey.  Registration is just $10 for the clinic and is open to boys and girls ages 8-12 years old.  After that the winners of the Champions League A & B division will face off in a battle to see who will face the winner of the APEX A versus NBCC A matchup.

We are hoping to work a 3-point competition and a women’s All-Star or championship game into the mix as well.  The tentative schedule is as follows:

4:00 pm:  Kid’s Clinic (click here to register)
5:30 pm:  Toon Squad (Champions League A) vs. Slime (Champions League B)
6:30 pm:  Western University (APEX A) vs. Al’s Barbershop (NBCC A)
7:30 pm:  3-point Shootout Men’s & Women’s Divisions
8:30 pm:  $1000 Tournament of Champions Finale (5:30 pm Winner vs. 6:30 pm Winner)

Admission to the event will be $3 for fans, friends and family.  Food and refreshments will be available.  Healthy Buffalo gear will be available to purchase and registration will be open for all of our summer leagues.  In addition a raffle will be held for a LeBron James jersey donated to us from our friends at Quicken Loans Arena.

Please invite your friends and family and help support our first ever season-ending Tournament of Champions.  Volunteers will also be needed.  If you are available to help out please contact Chas at [email protected].
