West Seneca, NY-  This past Sunday Healthy Buffalo headed up to West Seneca to take on theWELL in an exhibition game to help promote their partnership in an upcoming league scheduled to start in early February.  Seven players were selected from a pool of over 1,000 Healthy Buffalo players to represent the organization against theWELL, who were led by captain Darrick Castronova.  TheWELL just recently unveiled their renovated gym, which featured new backboards, a new scoreboard and a beautifully refinished hardwood floor.

It was a tight game of back and forth in the first half.  Shawn Satarian led Healthy Buffalo with 17 of his 23 in the first half, including three 3-pointers, while TheWELL got a strong showing from Darrik Castronova, who had 16 points before the break.  At halftime Healthy Buffalo led 38-34.  In the second half, Healthy Buffalo began to pull away with a strong showing from Rod Middleton (16 points) and Ilija Karanovic (17points).  Dean Thompson also scored in double figures for theWELL with 15 points.  Healthy Buffalo won the contest 79-59.
